  • What is the Passenger Locator Form?

    The Passenger Locator Form must be completed by every traveler until the day before entering the country, providing detailed information on their point of departure, the duration of previous stays in other countries, and the address of their stay while in Greece.

  • Does everyone have to fill in a form?

    If you are travelling as a family or group, you can add all travellers to one application. If you are travelling in a larger group, simply create a second application and add further travellers to the second application. Be aware, that everyone who is mentioned in the application has to stay at the same address that is provided in the application.

  • Are children required to fill out the Health Control Form?

    Babys and children can be added to the document of the main applicant. It is not necessary to create a separate document for babys and children.

  • Do I need to print out the document?

    It is not necessary to print out the document but you have to make sure, that the document is available through your travel, (e.G. on your smartphone or tablet).

  • When will I get my document?

    The Greek government will send the final document after midnight on the day of entry. Therefore we will send you the final document shortly after midnight.

    Travellers boarding or embarking on the previous day of the arrival will be allowed to do so upon showing the confirmation email, since they will receive their document during their flight or voyage.

  • My travel starts before midnight and I didn't receive my document. How can I enter the country?

    Travellers boarding or embarking on the previous day of the arrival will be allowed to do so upon showing the confirmation email, since they will receive their QR code during their flight or voyage. This means, if you flight starts at 11:15 pm and you arrive at 01:15 am, it is sufficient to show the confirmation mail that forwarded to your E-mail address.

  • Do I need any documents, negative test, etc.?

    At least one of the following points is required to travel to Greece. 

    1. Negative covid test

    2. Fully vaccination

    3. Covid infection in the past 9 months including proof of recovery

     

    1. As of May 14th, travelers arriving in Greece are required to have a negative PCR certificate from a testing laboratory, for a Covid-19 test taken no later than 72 hours before arrival.
    This test is mandatory for all tourists (including children over the age of 5), regardless of the epidemiological situation in the country of departure.

    2. Proof of a negative test is not required however for all travelers that have completed their vaccination (i.e., 14 days have elapsed since the last vaccination, depending on the doses required) and hold a vaccination certificate.

    3. Proof of a negative test is not required if the traveler has recovered from COVID in the past 9 months. This can be proved through a certificate of recovery issued by a public authority or a certified laboratory. Another option is a certificate of a positive PCR molecular test result, confirming that the holder recovered from the SARS-CoV-2 virus infection, performed at least 2 months before arrival, and no later than 9 months before arrival.

  • I am not sure if it is a 0 or a O in my passport?

    In passports and on ID-cards, the letter O does not exist. It is always the number 0.

  • I have not received the document. What do I need to do now?

    In this case, please contact our support team. If you have submitted the application via our website, we can send you the travel document again by email within a short time. If an email can not be transmitted due to an incorrectly specified email address, we will receive an automatic response from the customer's email provider and then contact the customer via other means. If we do not receive any feedback from the customer's email provider that the email could not be delivered, the application is completed for us. Be sure to check your spam folder or spam filter settings.

  • I noticed a mistake in my application, what should I do?

    If you noticed you've made a mistake in your application after submitting it, contact our customer care department on support@passengerlocatorform-greece.org. We'll help you through the process of fixing your application.
